Simple Baking Soda Oven Cleaning Method

You’ll need:

  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Warm water
  • A damp cloth or sponge

Steps:

  1. Remove oven racks and wipe away loose crumbs.
  2. Mix baking soda with a little water to make a thick paste.
  3. Spread the paste over the dirty areas inside the oven (avoid heating elements and gas openings).
  4. Leave it for several hours or overnight to loosen grease.
  5. Spray or wipe with white vinegar—the fizzing helps lift residue.
  6. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and repeat if needed.
  7. Clean the racks separately with warm soapy water.
