Claims that a homemade weed killer can burn weeds in one day and make them “never grow again” are usually exaggerated. Most quick weed killers only damage the leaves; many weeds return because their roots, bulbs, or underground stems survive.
For a fast, non-herbicide approach:

- Pour boiling water directly onto weeds.
- It can wilt many small weeds quickly.
- Best for sidewalks, driveways, and areas where you don’t want anything growing.
🌿 Vinegar spray (contact burn)
- Household vinegar can scorch leaves, especially in hot sun.
- It often does not kill deep roots.
- Avoid spraying near plants you want to keep.
🧱 Prevent regrowth
