A simple approach for weeds growing between driveway cracks is:
Vinegar weed spray

How to use:
- Choose a warm, dry, sunny day.
- Spray the mixture directly onto the weed leaves, avoiding nearby plants.
- Leave it to dry in the sun.
- Pull out the dead weeds later if the roots remain.
Another effective option
For weeds in cracks, pouring boiling water directly onto them can kill many young weeds without chemicals. Be careful to avoid splashing yourself or damaging nearby desirable plants.

- Vinegar and boiling water are non-selective—they can harm any plant they contact.
- Deep-rooted perennial weeds often grow back because these methods mainly damage the leaves rather than the roots.
