Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded or minced chicken
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or plain yogurt (optional, for moisture)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 2 minced garlic cloves)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or chili powder (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture
    • In a bowl, combine chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, herbs, seasonings, and mayonnaise/yogurt.
    • Mix until the mixture holds together.
  2. Shape the patties
    • Divide into portions and shape into round patties.
