Ingredients
- 4–6 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (optional, for searing)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ⅓ cup honey or brown sugar
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup or tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
Instructions
- Season the pork chops
- Sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Optional: Sear for extra flavor
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the pork chops for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Prepare the glaze
- Mix chicken broth, honey (or brown sugar), soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, mustard, and garlic.
- Slow cook
- Place pork chops in the slow cooker.
- Pour the glaze over the top.
- Cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until tender and cooked through.
