Quick Blind-Cleaning Hack
What you need
- A pair of old socks (or a microfiber cloth)
- Warm water
- A small amount of white vinegar or mild dish soap (optional)
Steps
- Put an old sock over your hand like a glove.
- Lightly dampen it with warm water (don’t soak it).
- Run your fingers along each blind slat, gently wiping away dust.
- For greasy kitchen blinds, add a few drops of dish soap to the water.
- Use a dry sock or cloth afterward to remove moisture and prevent streaks.
Extra tip
Close the blinds so the slats are facing one direction, clean them, then rotate them the other way and repeat. A quick weekly dusting prevents heavy buildup.
