No-Bake Banana Split Cake

No-Bake Banana Split Cake

A classic no-bake dessert inspired by a banana split: creamy, fruity, and easy to make without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar

Filling

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz (225 g) whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)
  • 3–4 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1½ cups strawberries, sliced

Topping

  • Extra whipped topping
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into a 9×13-inch dish. Chill for about 15–20 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled crust.
  4. Add layers of sliced bananas, drained pineapple, and strawberries.
  5. Spread more whipped topping over the top.
  6. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and add nuts and cherries if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) before slicing.

Tips

  • Toss banana slices with a little lemon juice to help prevent browning.
  • Make sure the pineapple is well drained so the dessert sets properly.
  • For a firmer texture, chill overnight.

It’s a great make-ahead dessert for parties, potlucks, or summer gatherings.
