Ingredients

  • 4–6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)

  • 2 tbsp ketchup (optional, for depth)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening sauce)

Instructions

  1. Optional sear (for better flavor)
    Brown pork chops in a hot pan for 1–2 minutes per side.
  2. Make sauce
    Mix brown sugar, garlic, soy sauce, ketchup, pepper, paprika, and broth.
  3. Load slow cooker
    Place pork chops in the slow cooker and pour sauce over them.
  4. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Cook until pork is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Optional thick sauce
    Remove pork chops, mix cornstarch with a little water, stir into sauce, and cook 10–15 minutes more.
